Coinbase’s entry into the NASDAQ has brought new dynamics to the cryptocurrency space, highlighting the systemic dimension of these products. The company announced the new innovation strategy to be followed in the stock market era.
The “Project 10 Percent” shows that the company will allocate its available resources by 70% in its main operations, 20% in its strategic planning and 10% in “innovation bets“.
The “innovation bets” will be an internal project initially, where the company’s employees will submit a two-page with possible ideas each year, while the best ideas will be implemented as innovative projects to form new spin-offs within the company.
Coinbase is aiming for projects that produce “step-function change” in users, metrics or capabilities of the platform.
