Crypto People

There are a few people called “crypto people”, who have majored in the crypto currency world and are very popular worldwide. The first and most important on the list is the famous Satoshi Nakamoto, who developed the world’s largest cryptocurrency, the Bitcoin, back in 2007. The name is used by a person or a group of people, as we do not know the true identity of the founder of Bitcoin. Satoshi began writing the code for the cryptocurrency in 2007 and in 2008 a website was created at the domain bitcoin.org. In October, he/she/they published a white paper on the cryptography mailing list at metzdowd.com, describing a digital crypto currency called “Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System”. In 2009 the first version of Bitcoin was released, and now it has become the most powerful crypto currency in the world, among others. After the birth of Bitcoin came other altcoins, like Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin and more than 5000 other different ones! Crypto currencies over the years have shown that are here to stay, but can be very volatile.

Ethereum

Another amazing crypto person is the founder of the Ethereum platform, Vitalik Buterin, a Russian-Canadian programmer, who is just 27 years old and is one of the richest people in the world. The Ethereum platform is described as a “decentralised mining network and software development platform rolled into one”. It facilitates the creation of other new cryptocurrencies and programs that share a blockchain. Ethereum was founded back in 2013, as Vitalik argued that Bitcoin needed a scripting language for application development.

Charlie Lee, is also a great addition to this list, as he is the creator of Litecoin. He has worked for Google in the past, but later on, he became interested in bitcoin. In 2011, he released Litecoin on Bitcointalk, while having written the blockchain technology based on the Bitcoin, while working at Google. He brought this currency to life, not to compete with Bitcoin, but to bring smaller transactions to the crypto world.

The last, but not least, favourite crypto people on our list are Billy Markus and Jackson Palmer, the creators of Dogecoin. DOGE was first created “as a joke”, and was used to make fun of other cryptocurrencies. It features the famous Shiba Inu dog as its logo, and is now one of the most popular crypto currencies out there. Founded in 2013, Dogecoin’s creators wished to publish a peer-to-peer currency that could reach a broader demographic than bitcoin.
