The Danish Government announced that casinos and gaming halls will remain closed until the 5th of April, in line with the coronavirus restrictions.

Last year in December, when the government extended the Covid-19 measures, venues were temporarily closed until the 28th of February, hoping to open up early in 2021.

With the increasing numbers of Covid 19 cases, the venues are closed in order to prevent the virus spread, while Denmark commenced the vaccination programme.

Some restaurants, casinos and gaming halls will remain closed until at least the April 5th, said the Danish Health and Medicines Authority in a recent statement, despite some relaxation of measures.

Other venues will be able to reopen in some parts of the country, but travel restrictions etc. will remain in place until the early days of April.
