The capitalisation of the largest digital currency exceeded 1 trillion dollars for a while there on Tuesday. Bitcoin reached a 24-hour high of $54,348 earlier, up 7% from $53,786 the day before.
This is the second time that its value exceeds 1 trillion dollars, after the milestone of February 19, where its capitalisation was kept higher than 1 trillion dollars for some days, before falling below this threshold.
